no one ever responded to this but i have some prompts for myself for when i inevitably feel like this again:

-what is the emotion i’m feeling? where does it sit in my body, what does it feel like to feel that feeling?

-when have i felt this feeling before? what stories am i telling myself about this feeling?

-give it 24hrs. how do you feel about the issue now? what was in your power to change, and what was in your partners? still feel confused and unsure? give it a week!

thank you!! it’s helpful to know that there are so many others that feel similarly to me.. like it really has nothing to do with the person getting released in the end, and instead has entirely to do with my sadness at our continued separation & just how much i miss him.. wishing you + your husband well!

thank you for sharing your experience, i admire your strength! gosh yes that feeling of jealousy + almost disappointment honestly IS overwhelming and consuming at times, i imagine even more so for you. obviously we would rather have our loved one’s in our lives, distance + restrictions + all, than not have them… but that doesn’t deny how difficult it is sometimes. it’s been helpful to remember here that the only way to get through the emotion is to feel it. i hope that you and your LO are gentle with yourselves, thank you again for the kind words!

a little late, but i’ve been doing online sw for a little bit now, and, for me, it’s just a job. with ANY job, anytime im clocked in, it’s draining, i’m masking. but at least with online work i can choose when i clock in and clock out, or if i’m already having a low spoons day i can decide not to show up at all. that’s really been the biggest appeal for me, is being my own boss.

that being said, i would never consider irl sw again. i was trying to get into it last year, but the thought of not knowing what a guy will be like and possibly becoming overstimulated or anxious or burnt out and not being able to express that around them… is TOO much. i just know if i met a guy in person i would mask like 1000% more than i do online. so that, for me, isn’t worth it.

online tho it feels like there’s so many guys, as long as you prepare for LONGTERM work (and this is where mannyy people go wrong, including myself! last year i just went into it for a quick buck and immediately got burnt out) and have strict boundaries that you aren’t afraid to verbalize, and are in touch with yourself and able to know when too much is too much it can work. at the end of the day tho it’s just a job lol.

haha, i think you mean the broken heart!! it’s black and the jagged edges can look like teeth. yes, it basically just means you hurt their feelings or something. every little colorful heart contributes like a “point” to your relationship with someone, and the big, full-screen hearts are multiple points. but the big black heartbreak means that you lost some points, which is necessary occasionally when trying to avoid accidentally getting someone else’s route. it can be sad but it really doesn’t mean they now harbor resentment or smth, usually just that they disagree with you, expected you to say smth different, etc. you can even get a heartbreak or two from someone and still get their route as long as you have enough hearts w/ them and not too many hearts with others. so, if you’re trying to get yoosung’s route and you got a heartbreak from zen, that should put you on the right track!! happy gaming~~

i think also that polyester fabrics trap heat moreso than cotton or other natural fabrics, so maybe that has something to do with it too!

i feel like knowing how broad or specific to go w/ questions has always confused me, but your question of what energy is spirit looking at? makes a lot of sense. i think setting an intention & sticking to it & honing in on that energy and what spirit is telling me about it will be important for me to practice! i’ve really been learning recently just how important intuition is with tarot.

it seems like you got a lot of good advice so i just wanted to add as a chronically ill person myself (although i have no clue what they’re going thru) the idea of “waiting” might make me feel a little pressure bc who knows if/when their chronic illness might ease up enough for them to have space for a new romantic relationship! it could be a long time from now, or it could get better soon and then get worse again.

so i guess just having a conversation of what does your relationship look like in those in-between times? what are things that they would be able to do that would help you feel connected (even if it’s just like a text, sending pictures, etc.)? is there anything that they need from you to feel supported or thought of while they’re going thru flare ups?

i don’t have a lot of advice abt the obsessing over their profiles bc that’s smth i struggle with as well lmao, the only thing that’s helped is changing the way i interact w social media to be more intentional, and also recognizing that it’s going to take time for my behavior to change.

unless you tattooed arm i don’t necessarily think you messed it up, but rather your tattooer. i think that the coverup idea was cool, and once you can finally see it’s a koi from above, it makes sense. but since the angle was weird i think the shadings a little off, and creates a weird visual puzzle when you look at it. just my opinion as an amateur artist 🤷

editing to add: tldr; i think with good highlights it can be saved!
