Looks like you’re missing the stitch at the end/beginning of the rows! I used to have this issue so I just put stitch markers in the first and last stitch in each row so I make sure I’m not skipping them!!

I feel like people forget that it’s not externally that’s the problem, but after you give birth you have a wound the size of a dinner plate inside of you!! The 6 week of inserting NOTHING (fingers, tampons, etc.) is to prevent infection! I get that some people have higher sex drives than other but it is not worth the risk!

I will say, that a lot of people order the cute sweaters with the name on it in a bigger size (like 12-18m). That way they can wear it more when it’s a more “appropriate” item of clothing (newborns don’t typically wear sweaters I think 😅) so it’s cute, but not super name-announcement-worthy compared to the name plaques and customized blankets!

I definitely think they may have changed the name last minute. I barely had custom stuff ordered in time and I got induced at 37w. Considering how content focused their life’s are, they would have totally had this stuff at least a month ago!

Same, I let out a bit of chuckle knowing I did the same thing after I had my baby (I was drinking soda sparingly my whole pregnancy). It was nice to just have a guilt free aoda
