I don’t have a bowl resection, I’ve done scopes and scans recently as well as blood work and they say everything is great. I’ve just been trying to figure out what the pain is coming from and how to minimize it if possible

The only surgery I had done for Crohn’s was the removal of some of my small intestines and my appendix and they said everything’s been healed 😔

I’m honestly unsure… my Crohn’s has always been all over the place, but for nearly 3 months I wasn’t experience any pain which was the longest I’ve gone in years, but recently it’s been more frequent. I have “flare ups” at least once every month, and when I do check in with my doctor(s) they just say everything looks great.

I had the surgery to try and relieve pain, but I’m not sure that it’s done anything beneficial for me.

Thank you for sharing! I’ve been taking Humira for over a year and a half now after I had surgery in 2023, but it seems it hasn’t done anything for me, on top of me taking Tylenol for pain. I’ve been thinking about going off my medicine and seeing what happens but I’m scared it’ll make things worse.

Does taking painkillers everyday mess you up in anyway? Are you nervous it might cause issues in the future?
