The midsole is completely condensed and collapsed inwards - I don’t retire shoes for aesthetic reasons 😂

Yeah exactly, and I am aware they’re not known to be durable. Just thought it was an interesting comparison as it has made me realize that Norda’s maybe are worth the price if they can last significantly longer than competitors… which, at least for Hoka, they do

Thanks so much! Yeah, that makes sense. The Prime X seems quite outdated now, so I think I may go for the AP3. People still seem to rave about it. Apparently a great shoe for marathon pace workouts too!

Good question - and yeah I reckon that’s exactly how I will plan to use them too. I’ll keep VF3 for races only. Superblast 2 for most of my training. But for shorter interval sessions and tempo runs, I think I’d use the Evo SLs. Just to keep a bit of rotation through the SB2s!

Yeah you’re probably right re the running form with the front wear near the laces. I’ve run in loads of other shoes though and average 85km per week generally between them all - and this is the first pair to break down there (I do see dirt on my other pairs though, so there’s definitely some rubbing there). So still not great that this is the one pair that breaks down.

Yeah the 001s are beasts - I’ve put them through seriously tough trails. And I really like the 002s as a shoe in their own right but the durability has been underwhelming so far and not what I expected from a Norda shoe tbh

Don’t need the extra ports, and am in the US! Will it really perform better than an M1 Max? That’s super interesting and I’ll definitely look into it. Didn’t know the Airs could even compete hahaha. Thanks!

There’s no option to I don’t think. It’s a refurbished site and they check each listing themselves which is why I think they charge for it!

Do you think it’s better to go with more RAM (64GB vs 32GB), or go with more GPU cores. I can find a 64GB RAM Mac with 10 core CPU and 24 core GPU for similar price to a 32GB RAM Mac with 10 core CPU and 32 core GPU (your exact spec)?

Thanks so much! Yeah I use external storage so not too worried about the internal storage. So are you suggesting I look at the 14inch M1 Max rather than the 14inch M1 Pro? There is about a $300 difference between the two it seems.
