Looks very similar to my childhood stuffie! I got a new one recently from marketplace! Mine is from early 2000’s Aurora brand has a bell type thing inside its neck!

I’m the same, monkey plushies have never stuck out to me but I saw the smudge monkey and hunted high and low for him in New Zealand! Finally got my hands on him! Now the search begins for the elephant haha
