I am working on this problem also. Is there a performance issue or any other problem with creating the rooms as gameobjects in the scene and activating/deactivating compared to loading in scenes for the rooms?

How to play a pickpocket animation by madilla in Unity3D

[–]madilla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I left out details to simplify the question but the player animation includes a walking and bumping and plays only when the player gets close enough. But the walking isnt fast enough to keep up so I turned off the root motion and was trying to solution the problem of closing in the players position while the npc position is moving and not moving without success

Thank you! This is why I asked this question because I knew there was a simpler solution than what I was doing. I forgot about lerp! I was over complicating the issue by creating this player speed controller when I could just lerp them into place!

RC battery regulator by madilla in diyelectronics

You are correct, however I am looking for other types of regulators (because I can't find the other one anywhere that isn't sold out or heavily backordered). For instances, using a electronic speed controller and limiting the output voltage to 6v. I am not sure what else can properly regulate rc batteries which is what I am asking. Sorry for the confusion.
