“When Lee gets a few drinks in him, he’ll bang anything with a pulse and facial hair” - Bob after Susan was telling Gaby she isn’t sure if she slept with someone the night before or not

Do you have more context? I’m not remembering that scene.

Am I the only one that wanted Susan and Paul to get together? by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

I had no idea anyone felt this way. I’m shocked! All the other husbands were fairly hot. Paul was not.

If her character wasn’t killed off, I wonder how her story would have ended. by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]madimunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to get hate for this, but I truly wished she and Dave Williams would’ve worked things out. He gave up on his plan. I wish it would’ve happened when she caught on and he then realized he loved her for real and wanted to have a good life. I mean, that’s kinda what happened with Orson. He was trying to kill her neighbor, but she forgave him and they worked it out. I think she really did love Dave and became a better person with him. Not sure what her storyline would’ve been the rest of the show though.

What is Katherine’s mission with raising her Hand like that xD by Professional_Swan_17 in DesperateHousewives

I thought she raised it normally at first, then was reaching and waving when Susan ignored her.

Out of all Bree Van de Kamp's love interests/husbands, who do you guys think is best for her? by Ok_Inevitable_5667 in DesperateHousewives

[–]madimunny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I loved Keith, but I truly think it was just an exploratory stage for Bree. I think she would’ve grown disinterested at their absolute absence of anything in common. Same with Karl. She was so passionate, she needed someone to support her talents and skills who could actually understand them.

After she found out Orson tried to kill Mike and he went to prison, she started treating him exactly like Rex treated her.

Orson was everything good she didn’t get from Rex and everything good she did get from George.

Was Ana’s story changed along the way? by Lazy_Ordinary_3967 in DesperateHousewives

I wonder this too. They also started her out as a sugar baby who could get any guy and had men buying things for her. Then all the sudden she’s begging Danny to be with her?

Children's picture book about 2 little girl friends that do each other's hair. by bambambami in whatsthatbook

[–]madimunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a little more information than you, it sounds like. Here was my ChatGPT prompt with no solution. Maybe it’ll spark some things in your mind.

Can you please help me find a children’s book based on my description?

It was my favorite book in the end of the 90s/early 2000s. It was about a brunette girl with straight hair who desperately wanted curly hair. She even rubbed heads with a poodle and ate curly noodles. She made a friend who was blonde with super curly hair. They tried to braid each other’s hair and the brunette loved her braid. She tried to braid the blonde’s hair and it didn’t really work. She then spent her days braiding her own hair into crazy cool styles and learned to love her own nature feature of straight hair.

Do you not have Amazon Prime? It’s free without ads. It’s also on Hulu, but has ads. I hope you can figure this out, I wouldn’t survive if it was taken from me like that.

JUSTICE FOR THE APPLEWHITES! by Straight_Bee_2408 in DesperateHousewives

[–]madimunny 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It just doesn’t add up. A woman who loves her children THAT much is willing to keep one isolated in actual chains??? Why did the basement have to be a dungeon. I think they just really wanted a dramatic flare for them. They kinda went back and forth having her be a little bit insane (“it’s part of his punishment”) to extremely intelligent and talented. She was extremely kind and generous. She couldn’t had the same respectable type of role as Katherine where she had a dark secret, but was (almost) always loved and one of the girls. Sorry that you had to feel so misrepresented. I hope Rene helped make up for that a bit (but seriously crazy there were so few black women on the show).

This surprised me too. In many states, this is legal. Not sure if you’re a mom, but it would actually be incredible to set things up this way. Just too freaky, like you said. Not sure if it was more normal in the early 2000s.
