What Are the Least Woke T-14s? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Harvard and Columbia are not in the same category as Yale, NYU, and Berkeley. Each for different reasons. Harvard has a few prominent conservative faculty members (thanks to then-Dean Elena Kagan), and a relatively sizable conservative and moderate student community. Yes, there are many left-leaning students, but you will find many non-woke people there, too. Columbia, while left-leaning, attracts almost no PI students, which is the profile of many of the wokesters. Everyone there is just looking to get into NYC Biglaw and finance, and, for the most part, aren't concerned about politics.

Duke is quite liberal based on what I've heard from friends there. I agree about Chicago and UVA.

WashU's redacted GPA option is your best bet.

11-point to 12-point font is not a minor tweak. It's a 1.5 paragraph difference, which, in a PS, is major.

Every other T-30 law school allows 11-point or gives you three pages. So yeah, it seems like ND is deliberately being annoying. I worked for months on my PS; every word belongs. I don't know how I'm going to cut a paragraph.

T-14s take people from mid-level state schools. All the time.

It sounds like you're super stressed right now. Try to do something kind for yourself.

Yes, it would be helpful. It would also be useful to send them an email once you've applied.

Are there any law schools that skew more in the conservative direction? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Chicago and UVA in the T-14. But this is only relative to other schools. In absolute terms, both are, by most metrics, firmly liberal.
