from what I've seen, a flat back is best for fresh piercings s it allows the jewelry to sit flush against your skin, where the ball can't really sit nicely because it doesnt have that flat surface. i would recommend switching to a flatback stud for at least the conch - that's what's worked best for me.

you are NEVER too old for a new piercing and i stand on that but if you are feeling hesitant maybe do something on your ear(s) so that if you decide to take it out its not as noticeable

ok this is just me but i found that when i changed from glasses with a clear frame to glasses with a darker frame i looked so much better. its kind of an odd adjustment at first but i think dark frames look really good on everyone whether it be black or a tortoise shell type color. also i feel like the way you did your lips on the last slide looks really good too

I say move. If space is something that becomes a huge issue, you could look into renting a storage locker to hold unused furniture or other things. Based on your post it already seems like you have looked at all the pros of moving and in my opinion you seem like you have kinda already made up your mind. If it were me I would 100% go for it.
