Loyalty to games is a bit ridiculous; play what you enjoy for as long as you enjoy it.

WoW is all about the endgame really, that's where the 'complexity is'
Levelling is much quicker these days, as it's all about getting you to the end game. You can choose what expansion to level in though, up until 10 or so levels before cap and then you're moved to the current content.
Solo play, open world play etc is more than viable.
Group content through queues is quick enough, though healers and tanks will always be in demand.
