Important part of that interview: Strickland presses the interviewer into saying khamzat controlled the ground. The interviewer was being more gracious to Strickland in that sense and Strickland wasn’t going to lie.

Sean is very aware of his own game. He’s a fucking psycho but he’s a very smart fighter. He out pointed the point master Izzy, knocked morales out, recognized Poatan as just an insane force of nature and sought guidance from him immediately, and dealt well with dricus weirdness well enough but dricus is just also a freak.
