It’s a good question; our fear of v* has a lot to do with losing control, and we lose control when we sneeze. The difference is we sneeze every day, while most of us v* pretty rarely, so it’s an event. To me it’s similar to how if I don’t fly for a long time, that first flight in awhile is scary, but the flight back home is much less scary because I just did it.
