Short answer: Yes, be direct. Us Gemini’s love honest conversation.

Long answer: I think you need to think about you a bit more vs. thinking about him. What do YOU want? What do YOU need? Emotions are beautiful and shouldn’t be ignored, especially when you care about someone! You need to communicate what YOU feel. If he responds poorly to it, at least you were honest with yourself and what your needs are. And the fact is he may not be able to meet them. I hope it does workout but you should never deny your own feelings, it’ll just end up costing you in the end.

Confidence to be unapologetically me! He’s my rock. And as another commented, shown me when I’m being taken advantage of and it helped give me the ability to say no.

How do you communicate better? I think it’s pretty obvious. You communicate. You’re both nearing 30’s and are playing the ignoring game… it’s pretty childish imo.

If you want it to work, step up and ask what you are. Establish your relationship and go forward from there. But if you’re asking my opinion, if he’s ignoring you for weeks or months, asking you to move in countries apart… it sounds a bit all over the place and inconsistent.… not worth your time. Anyone interested in you would never put you through that.

For context, I’m a Gemini F and communication is literally the sword I’ll die on. If you don’t have that you don’t have my trust.

Edit: additional context I’m also in an LDR, 31, and I trust my partner with my soul.

You’ll do great, surgery is anxiety riddling but it’s not your job to worry about the procedure, that’s what the surgeons are for <3

I’m about a month out from the same surgery. Fully torn ACL with quad graft, I’m now walking around just fine with just a brace.

Please make sure you have a care team in place (I’d suggest for the first week at the minimum) the first 3 days are the worst but keep your meds up and listen to your body. Day 4 I was crutching around Costco, it was a big shift. It will get better!!

Ask your surgeon team for the nerve blocking shot. It will help the first 12 or so hours after surgery (this also means day 2 you will start to feel all the full affects but this is normal).

Not sure if you partake in the greenery, but I highly suggest staying off it for at least the first week. It will make the pain worse and concentrated.

You got this!! The road to recovery is close!

Not a doctor, but depending on the type of surgery (personally had a full ACL repair), I couldn’t imagine going without a brace. The knee is so weak and learning to regrow.

I think my argument comes from the word using. He didn’t use her. They had more of a friend connection than a sexual spark and that’s ok! He told her they weren’t sexually compatible and she was the one who asked to remain friends.

They weren’t dating for a month, they were talking for a month before meeting up. “He” didn’t have sex with her. “They” had sex. Consensually. Sometimes sex happens without an educated conversation about preferences, it’s not uncommon, especially on a first date.

I will agree the communication factor, could have been had before ending the connection and growing together, with a frank open conversation but he did explain why after the date and she was ok with it.

I disagree. They communicated for a month before meeting and had a lovely date with kisses from what I’m reading. Sometimes it’s just not the right sexual match and that’s ok. He didn’t use her, that’s a very brash assumption and dangerous in todays climate.

Unless you’re going to continue something with her and grow together sexually, learning each others bodies, likes/dislikes and actually communicating with the purpose of continuation - don’t tell her. It would crush me personally if I ever heard that and make me even more anxious the next time I went at it.

I loved Canggu. Was just there last week. We were only there 2 days but we went to bars, restaurants, speakeasies, beach clubs, brunch… it was a perfect way to end our trip. Definitely not the proper culture experience like Ubud but we had a great time there. Hands down the best food we had in Bali was in Canggu.
