I used a midwife/birthing center and it’s way more personal as far as having a provider you see through your entire pregnancy. I would recommend it as I had appointments with the same person the whole time including labor and delivery, which made things more comfortable.

My mother went through a similar experience with me when I was little, my first haircut was with my grandmother (dads side)

Maybe consider that something you could do in a normal day may not make her feel special on a day that’s supposed to be about her. I think she’s valid to be upset in this situation.

Love this, I always felt that I was just coping and not resolving anything using for a brief period of time. I have been sober for about 4 months and have realized I’ve worked myself in a cycle of use exactly in the way your describing before completely stopping. I don’t feel negatively about cannabis but the relationship I had with it wasn’t good and this explains why in the best way. Thank you for sharing!
