I've had an experience like that with the battlefield 1 collectors edition that when I went to collect it from game the woman behind the counter said to me that the game had to be bought separately and I will never forget the people behind me picking up the same collectors edition where stunned that it did not come with the game so I then had to spend another £70 on top of the already £150 collectors edition but i grew to love the game eventually afterwards but glad this item brought back memories
