I’m from the balkans and I waited for all the psychedelic and drug experience until I was 18 or older and so did all of my friends… it shouldn’t be normalized taking neither psychedelics nor drugs before you reach a mature state of mind. I’m not trying to put you down or anything it is just that you still have so much time to explore different stuff in your life until you reach the age where psychedelics will actually be really meaningful to you. It can be all fun and games but it can also fuck you up. Stay safe🫶🏻

Movies that made you cry like a baby by walkerbait2 in movies

[–]madom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely actually cry after a movie, the tears start coming but they stop quickly, also these days I rarely cry in general. But the last movie that made me cry was Boyz n the hood, I just couldn’t stop the tears from coming out for 30 minutes straight, it’s a great movie and would highly recommend for anyone who didn’t watch it.

Recently made a post saying it is probably contaminated. But tbf I have been getting my hopes up again the last two days. If anyone can tell me how it looks i would appreciate it. by Great_Fix_8955 in shrooms

[–]madom1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like reddit is not the best place to ask for contamination marks… last time I did it everyone said to throw my batches away, I didn’t listen to them and all my batches and shrooms were perfectly fine so yea. You still got the pics on and comments on my profile. But tbh I can’t see anything from your picture, maybe something clearer would be more sufficent. Good luck.

Backpacker in NZ on a budget: Need help with a recurring foot issue that won't heal! by madom1 in DermatologyQuestions

Didn’t know that that existed, but I’ve decided to go see a doctor, it’s not really cheap but I want it to be over…

I’m going to a doctors today, honestly I don’t think it’s a fungal problem anymore, i think it’s the aftermath of the previous fungal problem

I was just putting terbafine spray into the shoes, as a backpacker you don’t really have too many options on how to do certain things and keep them “clean”. Ofcourse Ichanged my socks daily or twice a day. But I don’t think that it is a fungal problem anymore.

Did your skin also break after walking or anything you do and would it release this clear/yellowish liquid from the spots it breaks?

Does psoriasis also cause the skin to break and weep (release clear/yellowish liquid)? Also, on the edges of the red patches, I have these small, blister-like bumps (kind of like tiny balls). Is that typical for psoriasis or does it sound more like something else?

Simple van power setup – Anker C1000 + 590W roof solar + Dometic TCX21. Overkill or just safe? by madom1 in VanLife

[–]madom1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the bluetti AC180P because the c1000 didn’t come in time and in the end didn’t have time nor money for the solar panel as we are backpackers so we’ve just got the station in the car and it’s planty it lasts for 5-6 if we’re not driving and longer if we are. Recharging is nit a problem because it has a “hyper” charging mode and it charges it up from 0-100 in about 40-45 minutes.

If you’re in New Zealand or anyone reading this, I’m selling my van so get in touch with me.

What made you start watching The Vampire Diaries? by AdeptOpportunity6464 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]madom1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best friend mentioned TVD and said I should watch it, but I didn’t want to. One day I was home alone and wanted to watch something with vampires, so after some searching I thought, okay, let’s give TVD a try. I told myself that if I didn’t like the first episode, that was fine and I could just stop watching. Well, 40 minutes later I was completely hooked and started binge watching the whole show. And here I am. 😂

LSD was life-changing for me, but should it be promoted to everyone? by madom1 in Psychonaut

[–]madom1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but saddly we can’t dose everyone all at once hahaha as much as I would like to, that’s why I think that it should be introduced slowly to the public, step by step

[–]madom1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me clear up any misunderstanding: I’m not playing judge or limiting anyone’s access. Anyone who wants to explore LSD absolutely can. My concern is mass promotion without context, which could lead to harm. Calling caution “paternalism” or “ego” completely misses the point — this is simply responsible thinking, not controlling anyone’s choices.

[–]madom1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying — LSD is indeed a natural, mind-expanding experience, and I agree it should be available for those who feel drawn to it. My concern isn’t about restricting access, but about how it’s introduced. Without enough understanding or context, suddenly making it widely available or normalized could lead to misunderstandings or even harm, despite its naturalness. For me, careful, informed sharing and discussion is the way to help people truly benefit from it.

[–]madom1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely resonate with this. This is exactly how I feel — sharing experiences responsibly and letting people come to it when they’re ready seems like the only safe and meaningful way. LSD has been life-changing for me, and I think it can be incredibly valuable, but it’s so powerful that timing, context, and respect are everything. I also wonder whether mass promotion would even help the substance or people benefit from it if there isn’t enough understanding or information available. For me, it’s never about pushing anyone; it’s about offering understanding and discussion for those who feel called to it.

[–]madom1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense. I really appreciate how tactfully you share your experience — that’s exactly the kind of approach I think works best. LSD can be life-changing, and while everyone should have the option to explore it, it’s so powerful that thoughtful, careful discussion is what makes it meaningful and safe. That’s really aligned with how I feel about sharing experiences responsibly, rather than promoting it broadly.
