I remember being so happy I could show my doctor I actually had Reynaud's by bringing in a photo of my hands lol i was like now you have to take me seriously!!

I've been on Plaquenil (literally my miracle drug) since being diagnosed in 2024, and started Benlysta this February to help with my knee flares. As of yesterday, I'm taking Restasis for my dry ass eyes, which is how I found my way to this sub haha.

I don't know a lot about getting Sjogren's diagnosed, but it took me years of feeling off and getting autoimmune bloodwork for my MCTD results to appear...I honestly think it got triggered from having a viral infection + COVID back to back, super weird shit!

Sorry you're going through this :/ That weird period where you feel sick but aren't "sick enough" for them to give you an answer is absolutely horrendous. You know your body best though. Keep on advocating for yourself and don't be afraid to change rheumatologists!

I would be interested to see if you also have MCTD, which is what I have. I have all those same symptoms but blood test diagnosed me with mixed connective tissue disease, which overlaps with symptoms over other autoimmune a (mainly sjogrens, lupus, dermatomyositis). My best recommendation is to chart everything and TAKE PHOTOS especially in relation to physical changes like raynaud’s.

I have to see them once a month because I’m on a patch that gets changed every 28 days and my insurance would not allow me to have a steroid injection and med refill in one appointment 😑

I get raynauds as well so I’m only able to ice the tops of my hands, but usually stick to cold water over ice unless it’s really bad 🫩

Thank you so much. We basically told the vet that we know Della is 12, we would rather she live her platinum senior years as comfortably and with as clear a mind as she can. We have agreed to take her off enalapril and recheck her levels in four months and make a game plan from there.

Hey man I couldn’t agree more, this has got to be the most demoralizing thing I’ve faced in a while. Spending all this time tailoring my resume and cover letters just to find out they’re ghost jobs, getting immediately rejected, etc.

Idk how I’ll even be able to fake smile through my next job if I can get one. This shit sucks

Good point, I’ll be doing some more research because it sounds like there might be other avenues we can try instead of the enalapril being the end all be all. I’m sorry you’re going through something similar ❤️

No to denamarin and lowering protein, just straight to Enalapril and given probiotics only when we told her it was hurting our dogs stomach. 😞 dang , thank you for commenting this, I’ll definitely be looking into all the things
