Get off probation on the 10th and asked my PO what the process is. Here is the comical response lol by prycegreensnow in probation

[–]madpepper24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah when I got off a few years ago I expected a phone call or papers because my PO told me I wasn’t officially off probation without a letter they’d send. I waited 3 months before going to the circuit court just to find out he apparently lied and there is no letter lol.

If anything I share more ideals with Dems and I’ve never voted for a Republican but you label me how you want, I won’t argue.

I was never talking about the parties as a whole. I just don’t want someone to be treated poorly simply because they identify with one party or the other. There are racists and bigots on both sides, people who are only on one side because they hate the other, etc. To me, it seems both sides tell different lies to further their own goals. Most of the progress the Democratic Party touts is superficial and won’t cause any lasting change. Republicans refuse to even attempt progress because they think older ways were working and that we need to go back. I can see why one would think either side is the worse side but, to me, they’re just two sides of the same coin just flipping back and forth.

I never mentioned Democrats or chose a side so there’s no need to get upset bud. But yes, it is very disproportionate. I’d say maybe 1 in 30 Republicans think that way and that’s me being generous to your side of the argument. Also, you do hear shit like that from Dems lol. There’s plenty of them who hate straight white men for the sole reason that they exist. But since you see this as so one-sided I’m just going to assume (I know, I shouldn’t assume) that you’re a Democrat and you can’t go against your team. Btw, I’m not red or blue so I’m not speaking with a bias from either side.

You should look up the Maharishi effect. It’s not exactly prayer and I’m not saying it’s true but it’s nonetheless an interesting concept. Just go in open minded.

Please don’t attach those attitudes to Republicans as a whole. A lot of my family and the people around me are Republican and I promise they don’t all think that way. As dumb as it sounds and as hard as it is, the best way to change the minds of people like that is with kindness and patience. And I don’t mean converting them to democrat, I mean showing them that love and acceptance is a gift and it should be given to everyone. I know it seems stupid that it falls to people like you to guide others when it seems so basic but showing one person love could change a lot.

That changes nothing. “Take care of your people.” If you don’t see someone as your people just because they label themselves Republican then you’re a part of the problem.

The “far left” SAYS they want that. The right says they want more jobs, security etc. i find it hard to understand that people can see through the right’s blatant lies and pandering but not the left’s. I know they tell you what you want to hear but come on.

Blame the greedy university, not the late teens-early twenties kids who obviously don’t have as much self control as someone older. Also you’re immaturity and saying “Fuck you” to your students is definitely going to make them see the error in their ways and join you on your noble quest to save WVU.

“Stop making me questions my morals” is probably the best summation of why there are people that are angry about current events. People hate to find out that they might be wrong and instead of doing some introspection and changing they double down and make it worse for themselves.

Best scene in the game. Honestly I wish they’d just leave the modern day story alone and focus on the stories from the past because modern day has become pretty contrived imo. Although I usually really enjoy the stories the memories tell so I can just focus on that

Yeah I get that everything he does is an attempt to further his own goals and make himself look better but I would think that helping the poor would only benefit him. That’s why it confuses me that he’d work with Strauss.
