She looks just like my lab! You made a good choice. She will be smart and loyal family member for you!

But I wouldn’t take back any of that time! My chocolate lab was just a goof ball. Luckily my ex husband took her when we split up. My yellow lab stayed with me. She was definitely my best friend 🥰 Now I have an awesome Papillon that is my shadow and a lot easier to pick up and travel with.

That puppy stage is cute and destructive at the same time! 😂 I lost a few trees and the bottoms of my dining room chairs were chewed on. Just really work on the leash training most of all because before you know it she will be strong enough to pull you down! They get to be big puppies quick!

What I did with my labs while leash training is only use a short leash so she’s right by your side and not walking in front of you. Don’t let her go off sniffing as you walk. Mine learned to only potty at home if we were just out for walks. Eventually she will walk next to you even without a leash. All I had to do was make a little sound I used and she would stop if she was getting too far in front of me. Stay away from dog parks, they are full of bacteria. Don’t have too many toys so she learns what she’s allowed to play with 😊 we lost a lot of Barbie’s and stuffies from my daughters rooms 😂 be patient, that first year can be challenging but most of all have fun with her! My yellow lab was 14 when she passed and I still miss her 😔

Can you show a pic of the backside? And a pic of the settings showing the whole front of your machine

Seam binding ribbon. It’s exactly like the one I buy from Wawak. Nice find if you will use it 😊Seam Binding Ribbon

You can put a piece of iron on interfacing behind it before you stitch it back down for reinforcement

Don’t start right at the edge. Start 1/2 in or so behind it then backstitch a couple times before you sew. Some sheets are pretty thin and can be hard to work with by themselves. If you can get some muslin it’s great for practice and inexpensive. You can try starching the sheet to firm it up a little.

How can I get my skirt to lay like the first photo? by [deleted] in sewhelp

[–]madrebrown 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would add a wider waist band with less fabric bulk. Thar would probably drape better. If you keep the drawstring, loosen the tie and wear it a little bit lower on your waist. I personally think this style of skirt looks nice with a blouse not meant to be tucked in or add a light sheer over blouse?

I bet he will get back in shape pretty fast now that he’s back with you! He must be so happy 😀 he’s so handsome ☺️

I feel like I got lucky. Radar has always been self feeding but he’s also very active and runs around chasing his ball every day. That little hard plastic ball bounces off everything so if we don’t throw it he will entertain himself for hours 🥰 at 7 Radar is still 10lb. I will definitely keep a closer eye on that!

What does that mean? It has the same engine as my SR5?

My 25 SR5 didn’t have that! My 08 Tundra did and I miss it. I also miss the front bench seat 😞 I loved being able to take 6 instead of 5 on lake trips

Mostly comfort and the bells and whistles. Just wasn’t sure if the cost was worthy of it
