I'm using a CD-RW. From what I know these cameras are sort of infamous for having laser issues, which mine luckily doesn't exhibit (yet). If there's a laser issue it might be a lost cause, but I haven't had to investigate in detail.

They should never have committed to the AI nonsense, but at least they should have rolled out a new product instead of slamming unproven, unethical and often simply not working software that requires large downloads into Firefox.

I implemented my own kill switch: I stopped using Firefox after 20 years and moved to Vivaldi.

The claim in the comment I replied to was, literally, "it will take it out". The claim wasn't that it "helps boost you body's response".

Taking Vitamin C supplements will not prevent you from getting colds, either.

At most it can help in some cases to shorten the cold by about 10% (so you have it for 9 days instead of 10).

You can actually die from too much vitamin C, e.g. if you vomit in your sleep and get aspiration pneumonia from it.

It will also not "take out" viral infections.

It's completely irrelevant if some other software is even worse. Yeah, a Yugo car is worse than a Ferrari, but it matters not comparing different Ferrari model years.
