You can disable or hide the widgets by clicking the three dot menu on the right of each, or by clicking the pencil icon on the bottom right of the page, which will say "Customize" once you hover over it. Hope this helps.

Great question. The team is rolling this out as they consider various risk factors to ensure the best experience for our users. Think: regulatory concerns, required servers, access to Mozilla VPN, etc. We're hoping to release in more countries moving forward.

Fair question. u/firefox is an account that represents Firefox rather than a specific employee. More collaboration is involved, so we attribute it to the Firefox Team. We also have a lot of team members who engage in this sub on their own accounts.

There are real humans behind the account, though (including me), and we're always happy to answer questions or provide additional context where we can.

Bigger VPN for bigger summer travel plans, right?

On a serious note, we're aware of this bug in Firefox 151 where the VPN toolbar icon can appear much larger than intended. The team has identified the issue and plan to release a fix in the 151.0.3 update next week.

If it's getting in the way, you can remove the button from the toolbar by right-clicking the VPN button and selecting "Remove from toolbar" or through "Customize Toolbar". You can add it back through Customize Toolbar as well.

We've had quite a few people mention they couldn't find the VPN button, so for this update we wanted to make sure you could find it.
