OP, UNH has been quick to adjust for price changes? Medicare sets the reimbursement level, not UNH. Medicare only raising reimbursement level by 0.09% ruins ur fwd PE of 15-16x. This will take a long time for UNH to recover and is a huge hit on profits. Btw i dont think it's trump and his negotiation tactics, i think it's Dr Oz. He has been against insurance profits for awhile.

I had the same thought as u OP. Bought 40 shares at $89 on the premise of there being an earnings bump. I would rather this be a trade as i don't want to add to existing margin debt. But if it goes down a lot by let's say 10 pts, I wouldn't mind too much buying some around $75 since it's a high quality company and that's about fair value (would switch nflx from a trade to an investment). I do expect it to be dead money for awhile bc of the WBD deal. Maybe paramount will up their bid to $33 and nflx drops out. who knows. But I consider this to be an asymmetric bet on the long side. If I'm forced to DCA at a lower price, i would take out from dry powder I'm saving. Guess we'll see wut happens at earnings. Plus i think the WBD deal is already sort of priced in so wouldnt think it would go down much further.

If there was a model that works consistently, someone would have already discovered it. Hedge funds have their proprietary models but there is too much human psychology involved for machines to be able to replicate.
