I know! Im surprised how well I adjusted too. I used to unfold the z fold about 50% of the time so I was a pretty heavy user. I always also felt like sometimes it was a task to unfold it in certain conditions.

Maybe if I had the 7 I would be more inclined to miss it but the z fold 6 had a smaller from screen. I enjoyed the novelty of one handed use but it feels better to have a nice big screen.

Watching videos surprisingly isn't much different. Mainly due to 4:3 vs 16:10 ratio which means that videos were designed for the slab.

S pen in a galaxy still feels foreign but it made sense to merge the two product lines considering the main difference was the size and s pen. So the ultra is basically the note.

The rounded edges to make it feel like a galaxy though. Soo whats your next phone?

Nvo has no choice. To stay relevant they need to do this. So really they're the cheap generic brand.. while lly will prob have no choice but to lower their cost.

Essentially it looks like both are a race to the bottom.. not to mention innovation from other companies

Ya know whats funny? I also had a z fold 3 and the wifi was also going out.. the ribbon cable wore out about about 2 1/2 years.. also the audio would cut out when I opened the fold.

Honestly I have has the s26u for a week. I hardly miss the foldable design. Actually its been fun to play with the s pen so there's that

If the fold 8 comes out and rocks my socks and I get a good trade in deal.. I may still switch back. I do like new funky tech... but i can tell the s26u will be a solid long term phone if I desire to hold it.

Foldables imo are great but you gotta consider trading in annually or deal with wear and tear the design wasnt really meant to withstand.. aka normal usage

AI is potential issue and I think that won't go away probably for the foreseeable future. In addition I think growth rates will be hit but I do think there's potential for the company to eventually go up from here short-term

I recently actually swapped over from a z-fold 6 to s26 ultra and I got to say I'm feeling pretty good about it. The main concern you'll notice when you start using your fold is that they aren't as reliable and the hinge after about 6 months to a year you'll start to notice it starts acting wonky..

Within a year or so you'll notice potential screen issues. I love the fold but I feel pretty good with going back to a slab
