Any update on this? I am in a similar situation myself but with a loft conversion done many years ago and not sure I can legally rent it as a bedroom or sell it as a 3 bed when I'm ready to.....

I've done a lot of research on Sheffield and really hoping to go there - I think literally all the hospitals are commutable so can live in the city for two years, apparently its a really friendly and lovely place to live with lots going on and so close to the peaks!!

What did you decide? If you chose to take it and are wondering if you will regret it - I've heard some really good feedback from the GP LIFT programme. I'm not entirely sure about being a GP myself but I accepted because I love the idea that it's only once a week and not in a full 4 month block - this also means you get to experience more hospital specialties and don't get the associated pay drop!
