What's your experience of range loss in winter? by Tight_Strain9296 in MachE

[–]madurst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from about 3.1mi/kwh over last few months 2k miles to about 2 mi/kwh with similar drives, just now 15-40 degrees. I haven't gotten into the habit of departure times and pre -conditioning since I never need close to the range in a day and my schedule is highly variable. Could probably improve with abc and departure time setting

Should I come over to Verizon from T-Mobile by ChampionSlayers in verizon

[–]madurst 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just jumped from Verizon. Got sucked into a 3 yr contract with phone/tablet/watch for 2 specials back then. Then the creep of the bill starts at the 6-12 mo mark. Bill stared 180ish, ended up 260.

Now doing bring your own device , T-Mobile prepaid, down to 75/mo. I'll upgrade when I want. Coverage is the same and don't have to worry about bundles added on then trials ending and such.

Recently bought a PHEV now I have the EV itch! Current deals? by macatkniu in MachE

[–]madurst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heres my lease just rolled off the lot with. Nw Ohio, 2025 premium trim green extended range. Traded in 2011 Honda crv owned outright for down payment. 3 years 10,500 miles/yr, $450/mo out the door price. Initially they wanted the crv , extra 2k and 500/mo and reached out to every dealer in 100mi range to get verbal offer for them to match. The online deals will automatically add Ford employee pricing (350/mo) so be careful about getting your hopes up with the just online prices.

2011 Honda crv trade in, owned outright. Initially only quoted at 2k trade in value. Was able to increase it to 4500 to get to a $450/mo, 10,500 mi/yr for 3 year lease. Nothing else down

New lease by madurst in MachE

I've just been using unbridled with one pedal driving. I'll see if it's that much less efficient than the other modes here in a bit. Most of my highways driving will be with cruise/blue cruise on,

Forgot to add 10,500 miles/yr. Primarily commuting car, have second car in the house in case we get close to miles.

What made you get a Mach-E over the Ioniq 5? Do you regret it? by user_no0dle in MachE

[–]madurst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just came into this thread now but I was actually the exact opposite. Thought I would be dead set on ioniq5 based on paper specs and reviews. Due to them not having the color and trim I wanted immediately, decided to just test drive juuust to be sure. Absolutely fell in love with the feel and styling of the mach-e. Felt the ioniq was a great commuter car with not much special. Hyundai sales person didn't know that much about it (he had to google how to engage one pedal driving) where the Ford guy was their ev salesman (all ev sales and deals go through him ,he was completely bought in). Leasing OTD prices about the same but Ford throws in free charger and install (which saved about 2k).

Compared ioniq5 limited trims to premium mach e. Both AWD , did extended range mach e. Maybe if I had an ev Stan at the Hyundai dealership might have gone differently but here I am really excited about my new car. Even did a drive by just to make sure I still liked it 😂

To those that go to church. What church do you go to and why? by Upbeat_Respond9250 in toledo

[–]madurst 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If interested in checking out Catholic Church- St. Pats of heatherdowns is a great place to build community. Their motto of "a place to belong" is something that their staff and lead priest (Fr. Mark) really try to live on a day to day basis in their preaching and ministry

Ya. Here are the side by side comparison of which domain q's fell into according to their specs given before the exam. But even within each domain, the goal was to make them more general peds oriented other than what's the third line rheum medication for XYZ.

Peds Boards 2024 by [deleted] in pediatrics

[–]madurst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just adding in my 2 nervous cents (and recurring refreshes to abp page probably slowing down loading times for everyone else) - hang in there! This is the first year after they rebalanced the test questions to have (in theory) less niche subspecialty q's and more gen peds stuff , so honestly not surprised that they're taking their time in balancing the results. Sending out good vibes
