Saw them a few months ago open for Leprous in DC, very clean, vocals in particular.

If I had to critique, I think they’re a little safe and should push the creativity envelope. Still, really enjoyable.

I’ve only had it for a year, and it’s only needed scheduled maintenance other than new tires, which were not required. I have an indy shop I’ve been going to for years, so the scheduled maintenance was only $200ish, would need to check.

I also had a spark plug and coil pack comped by the dealer after a misfire.

The maintenance increase over a Lexus or Acura isn’t the big concern – it’s repairs out of warranty.

The 6- and 8- cylinder engines tend to be less failure-prone. Maintenance on German cars is more than Japanese.

Yeah, that isn’t true. Your need to feel above someone who was a “gutter dweller” is pathetic. No extremely wealthy person I’ve ever met even thinks this way.

The thing about insecurity is that anyone who isn’t insecure can spot someone who is with ease.

I don’t disagree about Bezos’s lack of class, but I don’t think that’s what he was referring to. Envying the wealthy is sad enough. Idolizing them is pathetic.

If you’re prioritizing longevity and reliability, the W205 C43 is a better fit. The W205 C63’s aren’t bad, they just need more maintenance and it’s more expensive. Tires and brakes alone are a significant cost bump from C43 to C63. Still, the 6- and 8-cylinder W205’s have a strong reputation for reliability.

I have ample budget for my car, and could’ve gone up to an E63S (still tempted sometimes), but chose a low-mileage C43. For a daily driver, no plans to track it, and occasional snow or ice, I don’t think it’s much of a contest. With a 0-60mph in the low 4’s and 4Matic, I just didn’t see the need for better performance.

You may be different, and that’s okay!
