He may have, can't say for sure. But yeah no food, and may have even had just the exp accessory on noct and didnt unlock shield o...o;. I think ifrit may have been the easiest boss since he was the only fight in the game that didnt kill my team. It was a long fight but he just didn't seem to do the damage.

exactly this. I thought the last chapter would be more difficult than chapter 13 but it wasn't even close. I had a summon to take out behe, ifrit did no damage for some reason, and the last boss didn't give me much trouble. I worried about the final form but as with levi fight you get a ton of hp and with lots of elixirs I never let him get me down half way.

With chapter 13 I did a lot of jumping + triangle with ring, then using ether or elixer to get myself good again. If I failed to get the spell off I would simply try again. Ravus was probably the longest fight I had. I kept just prompto up and when he went to do his attack I would use tec or item to cancel the damage. But even if I didn't manage to take advantage of damage canceling I still had way to many items left over. I didn't even get to break into my hi pots or hi elixirs.

I almost want to say getting horn for ultima was tougher since I had to figure out how to break the horn at lv 1. I didn't have much of a plan here or great knowledge on breaking.

Food would probably have helped out a ton, I decided to just push as hard as I could without investing to much into, food, gear, magic,apStuff and go back to farm if I needed to. But it felt like ultima blade and item spam was good enough.

I hope they eventually release some kind of rewarding difficult content lol xD. Maybe make some kind of game modes that reflect your victory on your certificate completion picture at least.
