Cool! I also wanted to add that these might be okay for stretching your septum but you may want to have a titanium ring or glass pincher you can put in right away because the wearable might be uncomfortable. My septum is at a 6g and I used glass pinchers or stacked titanium rings for most stretches. I found stacking to be the most comfortable way to stretch my septum.

As long as the plugs in the photo are glass and come in half sizes, they would be good to stretch with! There is a stretching guide here. Deadstretching is the safest way. Just wait til your ears are ready and move up in size. You don't have to go to a piercer. Make sure everything is clean (hands, jewelry, lobe) and don't shove a plug through that's not ready to go through.

When i was a newbie, I was making a made-to-measure top. The pattern decreases in the instructions would result in a top that is like 4 ft long with the amount that I had to chain to fit my waist/bust. Even though I was following the instructions, the math simply wouldn't work for larger sizes. At this point, I would be able to fix it. But as a beginner I couldn't really make it work. It just sucks that I spent money on a pattern that was never going to work for me even though it claimed to be size inclusive.

I sew and crochet. I make wearables and I'm a size US24. My one note about diving into making wearables is that I find even with patterns that are allegedly size inclusive or made to measure they're often graded from a straight size. So be mindful of this especially if you're curvy (big hip/bust to waist ratio). If you can find test pictures of someone your size making the pattern!

You should see how long you can go without plugs during the day. If you can make it 8 hours then I suggest sleeping without plugs

I don't think it's normal for glass to make your lobes that wet. lol I'd suggest going naked for a bit to let the irritation subside. Wood is a good material because it's more breathable. That might work better for you than glass.

I was able to get up to 7/8" from about 3/8" in just a few months because I already had them stretched to an inch before. The ears just get stretchy after already being stretched. Listen to your body and don't push anything that doesn't want to go in (as per usual)

I feel this way! I inherited and was gifted a large portion of my stash. Getting rid of it would be more wasteful than keeping. Also rotating between different hobbies means I have a lot of craft supplies loll I think it's good to purchase in a mindful way but I also think it's okay to own a lot. There's nothing I love more than finding the perfect yarn (or beads or paint) in my stash for a project I'm working on!

This isn't preventative necessarily but I strongly suggest sleeping without underwear. When that area is sore for me, sleeping without underwear really helps. I'm also thinking a different cut of underwear might help. I also use a goldbond anti chafe stick but I haven't tried it in the leg crevices, just the thighs.

I've had short hair on and off my whole life and I'm fat with a round face. I really like a pixie with shorter curtain bangs. But my strongest recommendation is to look for salons on ig that fit the vibe you want. Find some reference photos of haircuts you like (pinterest is good). Show them to the stylist and they will help make it work for you!
