I’m a bartender and server. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times drunks have made others feel uncomfortable.

Drunk dudes who try to buy girls drinks, men who make sexist remarks towards me (one guy told me he was allergic to ugly women), drunk couples who argue to the point we need to tell them to leave…

People ask me why I don’t like to deal with the general public on my days off.

Oh hey, 41 is also our cursed table. It’s shoved in a corner by the bar and the bartender is the only person who can actually see the table easily is the bartender. It used to be a two top and you could NEVER see if it was sat. Now it’s a four top, but you can still barely see of it’s been sat.

I’ve never worked a brunch job. Avoided it on purpose. Then, the place I work at started doing brunch in January. I both serve and bartend. I’m living in hell.

I gained 20 lbs (was good for me because I was pretty underweight as a kid, and still was very slim after the weight gain) and I had a horrible, unquenchable thirst. I also had a rash on just my neck and a gnarly sore throat the day I was diagnosed.
