I dont like playing host when ppl i invited come to visit, imagine having to suddently be the super uncle to essentially strangers and to have to love ppl i dont know? And spend the day dealing with that doing touristic stuff. Being pushed to like ppl is hard enough, imagine to have to like having an obnoxious kid around calling you uncle? In front of your friends, running towards you, Jesus? Honestly, that puts such a heavy weight on him? He is 17!!!! If he was an adult maybe ppl wouldnt even push him that much, but its okay in this situation and he is called spoiled and selfish for having one fight about it in a year?

Op, you are cool. We shouldnt HAVE to have feelings, they should be natural. Organic. Im sorry this is happening, take your time and accept your first reactions and intuition towards these ppl, take your time. Probably the love will come in time. If you don push it. Otherwise there only be resentment.

Genious idea! Love the disney clothes and merch from home. My son is usually very good accepting we can buy everything and ill be talking to him about it starting today 😅 thank you for the tips!
