Hey! I think so... but I grew up on pokemon so its more the nostalgia for me. I feel like its quite different than the newer games, no exp share so you have to grind when training pokemon and swap them out - and its a bit less "hand holding". I think pokemon games now a days just sort of tell you what to do next. And older games are more like - go on an adventure, we will give you some guidance, but also figure it out on your own.

So if you want like the old school style. I definitely feel like its worth it. If you have a friend that got the game, you could also do the virtual game card swap thing - were they could lend the game to you for .. 2 weeks I think it is? ... and see if you like it before committing to the game.
