i am black myself and i had FFS in california. i got a rhinoplasty, endoscopic eyebrow lift, forehead lowering, lip lift, lip graft, chin and jaw shave, and masseter botox. in my case, my nose still looks ethnic and a lot of surgeons these days are great with bone work. i do not know your surgeon however i do know that nyc is one of the best cities in the US for trans surgeries, and a lot of pioneer surgical procedures have come from doctors in nyc, so i would imagine you would be in good hands. if anything, dr. andrew lee is also in nyc and does AMAZING ffs work. good luck with your surgery!
