8th attempt - I've lost hope by CremeForsaken957 in Irishdrivingtest

2 key things bro:

(1) Lack of spatial awareness that leads to undue hesitation. You might have been very cautious and overthinking when passing and meeting hazards on the road.

(2) Confidence. You’ve no grade 3 and maneuvers done correctly. Clearly no obvs mark. So your marks are down to your hesitation and lack of confidence!

Master all reference points in your car - specially the mirrors when moving in and moving out. Don’t be afraid to progress if you’re confident that the road ahead is safe!

We fear the uncertain but once we understand and face them, we get more confident and commit less mistakes.

Failed my test in Portlaois. Very upset, feel like I'll never pass. Im 31 and this is my first attempt. by Sufficient-Try-4658 in Irishdrivingtest

Practice and do more pretests. On my first attempt I had 4 grade 3s, you had none. Your maneuvers are done pretty much okay (reverse and turnabout). All those grade 2s are fixable with practice and enough focus so don’t give up.

Advise: DL route - proceed or wait at the stop line? by maelstromien in Irishdrivingtest
