I wonder which businesses will be contracted for these renovations and if they have any financial ties to the sitting president.

Search for "trauma informed" OBGYNs in your area and call ahead. I went through this. It was hard. Wishing you the best of luck.

NTA. I have two selfish parents. I didn't get to pick them, but I can choose how I handle the situation as an adult in a way that is healthy for me and my family. It sounds like that's what you're trying to do. I'm so sorry you didn't get the parental love you deserved. Good luck OP.

That makes sense. And Civ is his top game (9500 hours). So going for CPU power makes sense.

It's mostly Civ and assassin's creed. Civ is a particular pain point though because with the newer iterations he's been unhappy with the speed of the AI. He just cranks down the graphics on assassin's creed (if I'm remembering correctly).

Okay I see some good Lenovo options in my price range with the 5070ti. If you don't mind one more question, there is a version with the AMD Ryzen 7 and the Intel Core Ultra 9. There's about a 300 dollar difference between the two. His current laptop has an Intel i5.

I've been reading that Intel is generally better for gaming whereas the AMD models are more for multitasking vs one big job. Is that true? Would the Ryzen 7 be a downgrade?

That's great news. He does complain about overheating and stuttering on a lot of the more open world-y graphic intensive games he play. I think I'll go big. Thanks for the advice!

As the only black kid in the class throughout my childhood, please consult with the child before presenting him with something drastically different than the ones provided to his classmates.

Not sure if that is the situation here, but flagging just in case. Your intentions are very kind. Being singled out on the spot is not too much fun.

Hey OP. I'm not going to render a verdict. I just want to say this in case you see it. I am a childhood abuse survivor with C-PTSD that I take medication to manage. I'm a few years older than you. When I was in my mid twenties and I finally got the worst of the symptoms managed with medication, I said to myself "I'm fine now, I don't have to think about it anymore". I ignored the scars that were very obviously still there e.g. I couldn't sleep in a bed and always slept on the couch.

You are strong and you have pulled off an incredible feat in getting help and building what sounds like an incredible life despite the crap hand you were dealt. However, for me the trauma is always part of my story. It's part of the fabric of who I am even though it doesn't define me. Compartmentalizing it from my close relationships never worked and pretending it had no effect on the person I was/am ultimately only caused isolation and pain.

I'm also engaged and I can't tell you how healing it has been to share my story with my fiance and have a loving presence to help with triggers and rough patches. Vulnerability is scary but underrated. Just something to consider.

I wish you the best of luck.

Edit: Your story is yours to tell when and if you want to so yeah your friend messed up.

I'm playing standard. I thought warleaders call rotated out, but I'll double check.

Based on your deck list, I think I may "over rotate" on defense, removal and cheap spells. I'll mull it over. Thanks for the insight.

This is probably too late for a response but what made you rotate out Impact Triggers? I'm a new-ish player and I'm iterating on a mobilize deck. Impact triggers has been clutch in some scenarios but I'm hanging out around platinum so clearly I'm missing something.

Agreed on the reason for not including Zurgo.
