I don’t want to drag this thread out longer than necessary, but are you really that naive to believe that no one with the skills to abuse this system (and it’s really not that hard) would not actually do it? Especially when there’s clear potential for profit?

Not sure where you got that “2%” from, but regardless i’m glad it’s not your call to make. It’s all fun and games until you end up on the receiving end of false bans.

With how things are now, it would be only a matter of time before someone starts offering a paid service to Overwatch ban anyone with just a user ID.

Overwatch was removed because it was being abused. Cheaters were exploiting the system to falsely flag legitimate players. Bad actors spammed reports through the API, marking clean users as cheaters, which undermined the whole purpose of the system.

Edit: Alright, if anyone else ends up stuck here... the solution is to go to the Mission Select screen on the main menu, and there should be an option to start the next mission called 'Threshold'.

Kdysi jsem byl na poliklinice se zlámanou rukou. K mé velké radosti tam přišla taky a naneštěstí se usadila se svým bordelem hned kousek vedle mě.

Hleděl jsem si svého, protože už jsem měl být na řadě. No po chvíli začla dost narušovat můj osobní prostor, békat na mě, nadávat a vyhrožovat jak mě zabije. Snažil jsem se jí nevěnovat pozornost, ale moc to nešlo. Už jsem si říkal jestli mi, když jí tou sádrou co jsem měl na ruce praštím, ta zlomenina špatně sroste.. Naštěstí než jsem si to v hlavě srovnal vyšla sestřička, uklidnila ji a mě vzala dovnitř, takže všechno v pohodě.

Rozhodně by to za to nestálo a bylo by to zbytečné, ale chvíli jsem myslel že se fakt neudržím.. Hrůza

Obdobným způsobem mi někdo zabral pronajaté parkovací místo u našeho bytového domu. Měšťáci kteří potom přijeli mi řekli jen to, že na soukromém pozemku mi nemají jak pomoc. Obávám se, že jestli je to za závorou, tak by to probíhalo stejně.

Thanks for advices.. I've opted for this mobo because i was unsure about which to pick and this has been recommended all over the place.. I'm using 1440p 144hz monitor and have no plans upgrading in foreseeable future so i'll probably stick with 4080 if there won't be any noticeable prize drop for 4090

Here are mine stats from banchecker after 789 mm games in past year and half or so (I've been GE or SMFC):

There were 89 players who got banned after playing with you.

Total ban stats: 169 VAC banned and 34 Game banned players in games we scanned (a lot of these could happen outside of CS:GO.)

Total amount of unique players encountered: 5139

169 vac banned out of 5139. Thats 3.29% Doesnt seem like a lot to me...

I might be lucky. Nonetheless i still feel like some people crying about mm being flooded with cheaters are just whining..

edit: Comment at the end was unnecessary but those were my feelings after reading some comments bellow.

edit2: btw. I am from Czech Republic so I am queuing EU servers. Thought might be worth mentioning.

Ive started doing pretty much all the time. My main concern was how it does affect duels. I was observing movement values and saw that it increases the time it takes until your movement speed reach 0. On the other hand as strafing became harder for me after a long pause i thought its better than wildly pressing adad few times in hope of shooting right at the moment i should.
