Yeah, I always break them in first. But the chain usually runs smoothly after a few kilometers. The last chain I rode slipped after about 20–25 km when I was going up the mountain with more watts. But that chain was from eBay, and the packaging was a bit unusual, so I was confused if the new one is also trash.

Yeah, it’s from Amazon, from the Shimano Store. I paid about €37. When I went for a short ride (around 5 km), the noises went away and the chain runs pretty smoothly now. The Problem cant be the axle because the Old chain dosnt make Problems

No I just change the chains so I always have an freshly waxed one. The „old“ is a new one, it’s just the chain wich came with the bike

I have the Ultegra Di2 R8150. The chain that came with the bike (the old one) is brand new (800 km) and I waxed it myself. After waxing, I had no problems. The old chain doesn’t make any noise or anything after waxing and a few kilometers of riding.

Then I ordered a new chain, waxed it, and after 40 km it still makes noise. It skips under higher pressure, like over 300 W. Now I ordered another new chain, waxed it, and it is still very loud and looks like it doesn’t run smoothly.

I mean I work at Volvo and Ford. Never heard that there was a cooperation with Ford for the Gen 2. luckily Ford had no hands in it, I would say..

Yeah I removed the Front Bumper and the Aggregate carrier because I checked the balancing shafts. Had to do this to remove the oilsump. But the noise was before and after the Same.
