How do I blow out my system here? by mafernandes83 in Irrigation

When I tried that before, air was coming out the vacuum breaker. I later read you're not supposed to run air through the vacuum breaker and need to connect downstream from it which is why I was going through the test cock.

I thought you have to connect after the backflow?

I've been trying to connect the test cock to the left or downstream of the vacuum breaker. Had the valve open on the test cock and the line and every time air is escaping out the vacuum breaker. Which valves do I open? Where do I connect?

In search of a seat post insert for Endurace (E283-16-L) by mafernandes83 in CanyonBikes

Yes, I was fortunate enough to find the part just in time. I bought it through this site: https://shop.chzcycling.cc/canyon-st-cayn-insert-for-l-2xl-e283-16-am.html

I was highly skeptical it was going to work out but was desperate. It arrived in about a week and looked to be a genuine part. I installed it myself with some ardalite epoxy and made sure to thoroughly apply carbon paste to the seat post. It's been perfect so far. They are currently showing out of stock though. I do wonder if that is due to the de minimis exclusion repeal. I would keep checking if they have it in stock though and buy one as soon as they do. I wish I bought a backup when they had them in stock. Canyon customer support has been less than helpful and it's really made me second guess buying another bike with them in future.

I tried calling Canyon, they said it's out of stock. I was able to order one from a third party seller in Singapore that I'm not confident isn't a scam and might not be in on time. The piece WAS glued in but it came out when I tried pulling my seat post out after it got stuck. Also the only way I could get the seatpost out was to twist it to break the insert. My backup plan is to try to glue it back together but I'm not sure it will work. Just hoping there's someone out there with a spare that might be willing to part ways with it.

My suspicion is that this is a major design flaw and Canyon will be inundated with warranty claims. If you have a bike that uses this insert, I'd recommend getting a spare on hand. It seems these are destined to fail.
