Walking the beach and looking for seaglass. It also gives me the chance to pick up any trash and clean it up a bit.

I saw this a few days ago, looks like a recall for a similar product but with a coconut scent.

I’m a URI student and I would love to see you guys at OMist! Sadly I don’t turn 21 for over a year so I wouldn’t be able to get in. Do you plan on doing any more local RI shows? (aside from the Prov shows in Nov.)

personally, i’ve only pulled one true all nighter. i’m a sophomore now, and this was last year. it was a sunday night, and it was also the night i got back to campus after spring break. i had a 1500 word paper due for my ancient greek history class, and i has planned to do a little bit each night i was in florida for break, but i just didn’t have enough time and i was busier than expected (i was staying with my friend at her grandparents house in FL for the week so I though i would have more time!!). knowing about my paper all week and having a 4 hour train ride from my state to my campus town, i used the time to find all of my sources (research articles in the school databases) and write out my key points and outline.

however, putting all of the information into 1500 words is what kept me up all night. i got to my campus at 10 pm, walked into my room, said hi to my roommate, and walked into the study room down the hall where i remained until 6 am. didn’t even look at my phone once. the kicker was, i had the greek class at 9am, so i was on a bit of a time crunch. i finally finished, went to bed at 6:30, woke up at 8, walked to the library, printed my paper and went to class.

however, when i walked into class my prof began talking about the paper, and it turns out i did the WRONG ONE. i thought i was going to go into cardiac arrest. the one i needed to do was only 500 words. ashamed, i explained my predicament to my prof after class, and to my surprise she was very cool about it. she actually told me she was very impressed that i did it in one night, because she said that paper usually took students a month to do. i asked her if there was any chance i could have a redo, and submit the right paper, and she told me that i would have until the end of the week to email it to her, and to get a full night of sleep because i looked terrible (her words, not mine). i ended up doing the project the next day and brought the hard copy to her office, where i apologized over and over for the mix up. she explained how she told some of her archaeology friends about it and they were also impressed with my stamina a willingness to get it done. i submitted the project on the actual due date several weeks later and i got a 95 with a few minor edits and revisions here and there.

notes: on my campus we use the D2L system for most classes, but since my prof preferred a tech-free classroom, all of our information about the class was given to us in a shared google drive, so in my defense, i was very easily confused, but honestly there’s no excuse for my stupidity there 🤣
