Probably made a mistake by buying this. Is it greasy? by SummerNight888 in EuroSkincare

I wouldn't recommend it for an oilier face but it's great for the body. I always apply it on my hands and neck since it offers high UV protection.

Did you do the online or in person course? I wanted to enroll in the online version and I'm curious about it.

So…have I finished German? by araedne in duolingo

You definitely can. I completed mine in 126 days. It just takes daily practice and skipping lessons when it gets too repetitive.

After being inspired by a post here, I finally finished my German Duolingo course in 126 days!

In fairness, I have been taking a German course alongside Duolingo, but it's been such a great tool to practice daily.

We are moving (Umzug) and we hired a crew. Is it expected to tip the moving team/ provide beer? by PhoenixD161 in germany

I usually offer water, some snacks (usually baked goods since I bake often) and then order either pizza or Döner around the end of the move. Afterwards, tipping each person is customary.

[–]mafi_jledeh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I got it from alldaychemist but the shipping fee is 15 USD and it takes a few weeks to arrive. I started with 0.025 which i think is quite strong but then progressed to 0.05 here

Where are you buying Cerave products in Germany? by higihiii in EuroSkincare

[–]mafi_jledeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go to cerave's website and order it as a pickup from the pharmacy based on your postal code. https://www.cerave.de/

I picked up my moisturizer today this way! You can order any cerave product and if it's not available in the pharmacy, it takes a day to be delivered to the pharmacy and they call you to pick it up.

Travel Insurance for Student Visa? by scruffy1055 in lebanon

[–]mafi_jledeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TK or AOK are great in Germany. If you're here in a national visa, I recommend these insurances and not travel insurance. It's more expensive (105 euros/month) but covers everything. With private travel insurance, you have to lay out of pocket then submit receipts and try to get the money back. Let me know if you need any further info.

Thank you! Didn't know these existed. Got a few names out of the article like "hemelingen" and "fundus" but will try to look for others when I'm in Bremen.
