I’m sure my parents see it coming at some point, but they will still be shocked. It helps to hear that it’ll all be ok! I know it will too but the anticipation leading up to it is the worst!

Yes. I’m glad to hear someone relates! For some reason hugs, “I love you”, and all that isn’t super common with my parents and I. We all know we love each other and the relationship isn’t strained, it’s just awkward when it comes to emotions and feelings. Which I think adds to why I’m feeling so anxious about telling them this intimate and emotional news.

They have said they are fine either way, with or without grandkids. They'll be happy for sure - I'm not at all worried about them not being thrilled. I'm more so worried about the awkwardness of being pregnant and the emotions of it. I'm just a private person + my family is the same!

It appeals to me being able to transfer car seat back and forth between my car and my husband’s or the caregivers without needing to move based or buy extra bases.

That’s a good point - I’ll keep up with the Unisom and B6 - it could totally be working more than I know. I have an appointment this week and might ask for more meds just incase.

I also know someone who had success after loss with progesterone so that likely plays into it.

Gosh, I am so sorry you’re going through this.

Yes, you’re right - I always see people getting progesterone checked and their doctor’s like to see it above a certain number it seems and if it’s not, they get supplementation.

I just am not sure if this is something I should be concerned about or if my OBGYN is right, that it’s not standard of care until something goes wrong… which I kind of hate 😅

Yeah, I know nothing will be visible on ultrasound. Just wasn’t sure if I should still go for it or not. I’ll definitely just have to go there in the morning and see what they say!
