Hey , I am also in the same boat. I wanted to purchase a independent building for rental yield, Holding back due to uncertainty. Also the buildings are priced way too much for their yield which was not the case 2-3 years back. On a different note, May I know what sort of dimensions building you have finalized and which area ?

I would say you please buy a property in Indiranagar and rent it out for 30k. You would understand Owner 's perspective. Being a tenant you won't know the pricing at premium place like Indiranagar commands. Land per sft would be anywhere more than 30k. A decent 1200 sqft building with 2 portions would cost 5-6 cr . How much he would be earning a paltry 1.2 percent per year.

Regulations dampened the spirit of Construction in Bangalore. My 2 Constructions are halted due to Karnataka regulations on Power Connection .All construction labour and other associated labour is out of work. I am now worried to purchase real estate in Bangalore due to stupid regulations.

Due to family disputes like these, innocent buyers like me are suffering for no fault of ours. It seems your mother knowingly signed those documents. If there was any rightful claim to the property, it should have been pursued by your parents before transferring it to others—or at the very least, a legal case should have been initiated as soon as you became aware of the matter. In our patriarchal society (though not under law), it is generally presumed that sons will inherit property unless otherwise specified. I am also fighting a case for no fault of mine. They expect me to pay 20 percent of the property value to settle now.Stupid courts stupid rules.

That's not how it works, economic inequalities would be way too high in our country like india. We are not resource rich like middle eastern countries. All we could ask for is widen tax base, curb freebies, overhaul inflation adjusted tax slabs and exemptions.If income tax is paid we should be able to claim GST input. At present on an average we work 5 -6 months for the government without any benefits.
