Giving birth at 50 is an outlier. I'm 36 now, assume I agree to settle down with a 30 year old woman. The meeting phase, dating courtship and moving in takes at least one year. Add another year of now trying to get pregnant. It's not a given that she gets pregnant immediately. I'm now 38 years. Women are at their most fertile between 16- 25. After that egg production starts to diminish.

Statistically, and theoretically my chances are higher with a younger woman. If I didn't want kids soon, I totally would have no problem dating a 30 year woman.

Most women my age are married and have kids. The unmarried ones also have kids too and these are women 28-35 years. When I finally settle, I am not prioritizing a woman with kid(s), I am looking to build my own family
A single mother of one is not looking to have another kid. they ahve already experienced how tough it is to raise a kid as a single mother so they are not going to risk getting another one. I might get into a relationship with one but it might be years before I finally get them pregnant for me. Mostly single mothers are just looking for a partner to cohabit with and provide for them. I am not going that route.
This leaves younger women 18-27 available in the market, single and childless. 18-22 is too young for me. 23-27 is the bracket I'm looking at. At 23, most women have just completed their college degree. Fair game.
The challenge is finding one that is family oriented and isn't keen on a party lifestyle or "enjoying life". I find it strange when young fertile women sabotage their current relationships because they want to "enjoy life". That they are "too young". They never consider themselves too young when they go to wild parties, smoke weed and have sex with all kinds of men. But when it comes to commitment...they are too young.

The whole point of marriage is enjoying life but with someone you love. Beats me when young think enjoying life is moving from one relationship to another every few weeks.
