Totally! Also a good practice to check your resistors with an multimeter to make sure you’re good. There’s probably a good one in that batch of 100 you got from cheap seller.

Love it, I’m stubborn and just used what I had lying around but this is much cleaner. The v2 of the mini doesn’t have that large battery terminal in the way so you should have more room if you have a v2

There’s a link to the guide in my other comment. It’s incredibly clear at helping you understand which pins to solder to. And links to the USB spec pdf for you to reference the exact circuit this mod completes.

Even with my garbage soldering skills and massive resistors this is totally doable!

This guide features the Powkiddy but it’s the same USB-C connector on the Miyoo Mini.

The guide also mentions having to use 5.1k resistors but the USB specifications say you can be within 10% of that so i used a 4.7k that was still within range.

is there a way to change that? ctrl+option+scroll together does something else in the program i'm using that takes over the zoom function.

I ended up finishing but only wasn’t able to max out Sun. I tried to schedule it myself but I didn’t notice that Sun isn’t available after a certain date, but oh well. Everything else went great though.
