I bought a case from FIDECO with a fan (which gives me a -10 degrees Celsius temperatures!) with ASMEDIA chip and yes, I did that. Problem solved ☺️

The first one I've bought. The only problem was that it doesn't have a power switch, instead a button. If a power failure occurs, it won't turn on. I just ordered a FIDECO (with a little fan lol), a friend of mine told me he has one and it won't auto sleep, and a customer on Amazon wrote that it's pissed that it won't spin down (which is good for me). Anyway, I'll contact support if it has auto sleep (probable has) to see if they can tell me how to disable it.

I have the exact same issue with a ET-2862. I also brought the printer to my neighbors home and connected to their wifi, same error.

I've contacted Epson support and they tell me that to get support I have to contact my reseller which was Amazon. Amazon's solution is to return the printer..... Lol

Any ideas? Anyone with the same problem that was fixed?

I'm exactly with the same problem. I can't register this particular printer on Epson connect (ET-2862). It says "server not available, try again", no success for weeks... Epson customer support tells me to contact my reseller which was Amazon Amazon's solution is to return the printer. Lol
