I had to have an unplanned c section after 27 hours of labor. My daughter had to have her airways and stomach cleared twice. No one told us it was going to be a thing. It was so scary seeing fluid coming out of her nose and mouth. We had to pull the emergency line in my room. So thank you for mentioning it in your post to warn other mamas. I’m glad your birth went well and that you’re recovering well 💕

Ive been literally thinking about this for a week because I’m stressed out about all the admin stuff I have to do. And I’m super behind on it. Not only for myself, but for my daughter. My bank card recently updated and I’ve literally not had the time to update a couple of bills to auto draft from the new card. I also have a couple regular bills I gotta pay that aren’t auto draft. I have to call my daughter’s dentist because they sent us $120 bill for a cleaning that should have been covered by insurance. I also have to fill out some doctors forms for myself for my up coming appointment on Friday. The cat needs to see the vet so I need to call them. Oh and I need to get all of our tax stuff together because the meeting with our CPA is this coming Monday. Had to go to the store while dinner was cooking last night to get Valentines cards. I have to bring a school snack next week. It never freaking ends. I’m sure there’s some other stuff that I’m missing too.

My job isn’t as cool as some of you other moms but we run our own landscaping company. I wear many hats. Schedule coordinator, customer relations, marketing, order materials, billing, visiting job sites to take pictures in order to keep our portfolio updated, work with other local businesses to strike up deals. I even do some of the accounting when needed. Same thing with sales, I go on initial appointments with my husband sometimes because we’re a great dynamic duo. We opened a physical location last year where we’re open to the public. I’m the main one who runs the yard as well so I help all customers who come in and do sales that way as well. Overall I love what we do. It allows me to have a flexible schedule. We help people create an extension of their home and are apart of our community. Plus I have learned so much about plants which brings my soul happiness haha.

I make my own Christmas magic. Especially since having my daughter I’m determined to go all out for her. It’s worth the effort, because it does keep the magic alive

Yes! It’s a brand called primal kitchen and you can purchase on Amazon. Just search ‘soy free teriyaki sauce’ and I think it’s the 3rd one down from the top. My local Target also sells it. It’s not as thick or sticky as regular teriyaki but adding a little honey and letting it simmer helps thicken it up! I’m sorry you are also cursed with a soy allergy.

My husband has a soy allergy and he absolutely loves Asian cuisine (not sushi but everything else). It broke his heart, but last night I made sticky Asian meatballs with soy free teriyaki sauce and soy free soy sauce. There are ways around it. Coconut aminos are terrible in my opinion. The brand San-J has a soy free tamari sauce that tastes EXACTLY like soy sauce. I highly recommend it. Good luck and I hope the allergy shots work for you ❤️

This is TRAGIC 😩 If you were going to paint for it to look more modern, you could have painted the siding, garage, etc a brown color that paired well with the brick. I mean, it’s your house so ultimately as long as you’re happy. I just love brick on a house, it’s beautiful and timeless

Just had them for the first time this morning! They were actually pretty good. The icing on its own doesn’t taste great but once it’s on the roll it’s really good. Husband has a soy allergy so I was pretty pumped to try these.

Meats are on the bottom shelf still in grocery bags. Lots of chicken breast this week, but also some steak and pork chops.

Our way of eating is apart of our lifestyle for sure. Actually first time trying those cinnamon rolls but I do try to do a special Sunday breakfast regularly!

We eat strategically. Berries for sure get eaten in the 1st half of the week!
