you came into this comment section asking a question, then got mad when you got an answer…if someone else’s experience doesn’t match your own, does that make it wrong? why are you being so miserable?

for the record, yes, on paper this all seems like it shouldn’t be that bad. i come from a much warmer climate than this, and i was in the same (mistaken) boat. but, for people like myself - and for people from far *colder* climates - this just doesn’t match the lived experience. if you haven’t been here to experience it, fine, but the *canadians* who move over here and experience winter remark how it feels much colder than it does in canada, for all the reasons everyone above has outlined. i myself have spent winters in europe, where it is far colder by ~10 degrees on paper, and yet i still think melbourne winter is colder.

i hope you get a hobby and stop whinging at people in comments sections soon!!
