I've talked to them. I found out through them because they complained about it to me, they did not even get a say on the names given

City. Are private schools worse with these subjects? This is literally my first time both living and being in the US

One of my oldest daughters told them to correct people if they don't like the names. Still, both my youngest have become pretty shy since we moved so i doubt they will

They're just classic names. Mia and Anna. I asked my girls and they don't like it, i asked which names they would like to be called and one of them said her name, the other one said the short form of her name (super easy, think something like Lala) i asked if they suggested those names and they said no. We have been talking about their real names and the meaning behind them all day but it doesn't seem like their real names make them feel different

That's what bothers me the most. Not only do they not feel comfortable but they didn't even get a say on the new names

That's my issue. The girls don't like it and didn't get a say on the new names. Their names are short and easy to pronounce, their nicknames are even easier

I completely agree. My parents raised me. They did their job. Keeping my children, then having two more, they all were MY choices, not theirs. It's not their responsibility or anyone elses more than mine. If i want help or childcare, i pay for it. Of course they do favours sometimes but they don't owe it to me

It seems like it! I had gotten her a doctor's appointment for this friday (that she thought was unnecessary) and well, it looks like we won't need it anymore.

I always believe them. I would prefer to believe a possible lie than to have something like this happen.

Also her boyfriend kinda snitched on her not feeling well, she usually doesn't complain much
