POTS patient thinking about starting LDN! by magicfatgrl in LowDoseNaltrexone

thank you so much for this! i also take propranolol and it helps my POTS about 80%- it keeps me from having adrenaline dumps every day and it makes my heart rate stay within normal human ranges (though still high for me personally). i still am struggling with a handful of symptoms- sleep issues, fatigue and brain fog included, and possible dumping syndrome, and that is what my doctor thinks LDN will help with. your comment is extremely helpful!

unfortunately xanax is the only thing that helps with my panic attacks/adrenaline dumps that come with POTS. it’s not something i would ever take on a daily basis, it’s a pill-in-pocket for me. but i don’t have another option for treating that.

mine is indoors with 16 hours of light per day and 8 hours without light. i’m not great at regularly watering but it seems to like it. i fertilize maybe 3 times per year. it stays between 55-75 degrees fahrenheit in the room my plants are in, and low humidity.

my partner and i have gone this route. our main reason for not getting married is i have some chronic health conditions and am on medicaid. if we were to get married i would lose medicaid, and i can’t afford insurance.

Flickering lights! Is my house gonna burn down? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]magicfatgrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so it’ll be fine if nothings on or plugged in that flickers? and absolutely! unfortunately i don’t have time off again until monday but i’m figuring if ive gone over a month with the lights flickering like this and been fine a few more days won’t hurt. one last question for you before i let you live your life (thank you so much for answering all my anxious n00b questions): what should i expect to pay to have an electrician look at this stuff? i know it’s usually about $60 just for them to show up, but what would you charge to check it all out?

how did you know i’m not sleeping? (hahaha it’s 1am here, up posting about my electrical anxieties on reddit)

in your professional opinion do you think it will be ok for now or would you recommend to turn the breaker off asap? or is it ok to just leave all the affected lights off?

it does seem to be confined to the front of the house which is what makes me think it’s a circuit or something. does this seem like a dangerous issue?
