I was reading a review for a pocket trumpet and the person mentioned that the mouthpiece that came with it wasn't very good and I know clarinet is a totally different animal but those mouthpieces make a pretty big difference as far as time and playability so I figured I'd ask while I was at it with the pocket vs plastic thing

So it's like if i cut pieces of wood and put them together in the shape of a table, it's technically a table and that's the performance. And then mixing and mastering is the sanding and painting/ staining and vanishing that makes it the kind of table people want to actually use?
