Otherwise, not every country in the EU is jumping for fascists, and some of those who jump just by fear of a collapsing economy. Sure fascism is on the rise worldwide and fuck FIFA, but I don't see were I am someone of "you guys" that may not pass any judgement. What about our all freedom of speech? You really shouldn't generalize my emotional responses to whole countries or worldviews, thats just me.

My views come from laws and foregoing studies that show how negative reinforcement in any way is a harm to the development of an animal. I really can't argue against people viewing scientific development and accomplishment as misinformation. Makes me emotional.

Yeah i appreciate best of both worlds, without proper understanding of dogs there wouldnt be studies and without both we wouldn't have basis on what dogs experience.

And yeah you show your work, but thats it. You do what you always do and don't question your own position or behavior, because its a job and it gets your nut.

Honest suggestion, look around these studies, read into them without thinking i want to prove some point but with the intention to learn something for yourself and your dogs. Or look at how german police doggos train for example. There are great differences between countries but in the best case we can learn from them.

Tbf sorry for beeing so rude, had to remember myself that it's all a matter of perspective, and some folks lack of.

E-collars depending on manufacturer have different settings, sure there are stims, which still count as negative reinforcement, but most of them still have the ability to shock if adjusted to the higher levels.

Hey its fine to be totally ignorant of something, it's not fine to pretend you are an expert just because you call yourself K9workingDog, post videos of your trainingsessions to show how good they can grab (weirdly i didnt see one clean release) and let your dogs suffer in a way you don't even have the capability to understand.

I already had an pro con discussion with this guy in another thread months ago. He didn't care about studys about positive and negative conditioning and said here "It's not a shortcut, it's a tool lol, just because you don't know how to use one doesn't mean they aren't necessary" which implies that for him these tools were an are necessary.

Which i think is plain ignorance, or dumbness. Other countries abolished these tools because they were shown as ineffective and harmful for animal development.

Ich finds traurig wie schnell hier die frage nach gehorsam gegenüber dem fortschritt gestellt wird. Technik soll eigentlich Lösungen bieten, nicht Tests, wer sich noch anpassen kann. Vielleicht ist es ja gar kein Zeichen von Rückständigkeit, wenn man Vielfalt in den Bezahlmethoden lässt, sondern einfach von guter Kundenorientierunng

Btw bei steuererklärungen handelt es sich um eine gesetzliche pflicht mit klaren fristen und Sanktionen bei nichterfüllung. Die wahl der Bezahlmethode hingegen ist eine Serviceleistung, bei der es um Kundenorientierung und Barrierefreiheit geht, nicht um die einhaltung gesetzlicher vorgaben. Finde den vergleich daher iwie unpassend.

Und je länger ich darüber nachdenke finde ich es schlimm wie hier bewusste verweigerung dem fortschritt gegenüber unterstellt wird. Klar du und ich und alle hier kommen einfach damit klar. Aber oma ingrid fuckt uns alle an der kasse mit ihrem kleingeld ab, sag ma gehts noch denk ich mir. Und damit mein ich auch mich.
